Initial Sketches
We started with a sketch and a concept for a top-down view of a desk. We wanted to give the appearance of catching someone in the middle of completing a task to illustrate a participant's point of view. We added a workbook, pedometer, and strength band to represent the supplies the participant would receive. The tablet showcased the online platform and activity tracking. The middle of the design was intentionally left blank for the logo and header text to overlay on top.

Creating the Hero Graphic
I created a composite image in photoshop to match the sketch. This required editing photos, creating objects, mockups and editing shadows to create the illusion of realism. This graphic would become the home page of the website and the first image that anyone would see. Later on this image composite was used in marketing materials, social media campaigns, RFP documents and more.

Content Strategy
In the meantime, we were working on the content for the website. I worked with Alex Goldberg to organize and fine-tune our marketing strategy. I wanted a clear vision for what this website should communicate. What is the call to action? Who are we trying to attract with this message? What are we trying to communicate? What makes us stand out as a wellness platform in a sea of competitors? Once we had a clear idea of our direction and content we started on building out the individual pages.

Development
The marketing strategy that we developed was very helpful in driving the development process. We had real content to work with and a clear idea of what we wanted. We needed an all-star to help us develop our new marketing website and brought Sara Soueidan on board in March 2015. We were impressed with her work and online personality. We knew she would be a great fit for our project! We needed someone that understood the high level of quality we were going for. We had already decided we wanted Sara on the project but first we had to convince her to join the team! Alex Goldberg, Provata Health CEO contacted her over Skype. Thankfully she accepted our offer to build the website.
I worked with Sara and Alex through the entire development process. My role was to guide the design decisions, QA the website, write up feedback notes, set up communications (slack channel), manage files (dropbox archive), and answer any questions from Sara. I designed all the illustrations for the website and worked with Sara to animate each one in a different way. We were very impressed with her attention to detail and polish. Some of the animations were a pain to create but we got through it and she always figured out a solution. Her hard work on this really helped us stand out in the market. Our website was always a topic of conversation when we reached out to new clients (and potential employees!). Years later I am still hearing stories about how this website impacted our business and really helped us stand out as a startup in an ever growing market.

Provata VR
Two years later we contacted Sara Soueidan again to add a new page for our virtual reality app, Provata VR.
For this design I wanted to make the viewer feels instantly at ease and in a calm state. We achieved this by adding looping videos that also mimic the 3D videos in the app.
Our team created a new promotion video that featured the app along with our platform to show how each product will compliment each other.

Press Page
We started to gain some attention in the press and a few awards along the way. It was time to add a press page to our marketing website to feature all our accomplishments.

Platform Page Update
In the meantime, our platform was developing and growing. It was time to update our website with a new set of digital tools and features. Our team developed an app to support the web platform that included a proprietary digital fitness tracker. Along with our fitness tracker, we also released a wireless digital scale, blood pressure monitor, and VR glasses. For new features, we wanted to showcase our new coaching tools and doctor chat.
